Tomato pasta
- Pan fry a packet of minced meat
- Pour a bottle of tomato pasta sauce into the pan
- In a separate pot, boil pasta (use a pasta measuring tool and follow the packaging’s instruction; we usually use the 12-minute one)
- Transfer the boiled pasta into the pan. Adding a little of the boiled pasta water (with the released starch) makes the pasta sauce stick to the pasta better (see emulsification). Avoid cooking spinach together in the pan because it produces water and makes the tomato sauce watery.
